Terms & Conditions

A session is a single, structured conversation of up to 60 minutes, conducted as a one-to-one video call on Zoom. It is designed to help you identify what is keeping you stuck and arrive at a concrete next step. Within 24 hours of the session you receive a written summary by email.

Beyond Thoughts is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. Sessions are structured reflection conversations for healthy adults seeking clarity. A session is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or medical treatment, and is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. We do not diagnose, treat, or seek to alleviate any illness, disorder or medical condition.

The service is intended for adults (18+) who are healthy, functioning people seeking clarity. It is not suitable if:

• /you are in an active mental health crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts
• /you are dealing with active addiction
• /you are seeking therapy, psychological treatment, or a diagnosis
• /you are looking for ongoing coaching or long-term support

By booking, you confirm that none of the above applies to you.

€49 is due at the time of booking, processed securely by Stripe. A time slot is only held once payment has been received. Prices include German VAT where applicable.

• /You may reschedule once at no charge, provided you give at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
• /With less than 24 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the session is forfeited and no refund or reschedule is available.
• /No refund is issued after payment, except where required by applicable law, including the withdrawal right in § 5 below.

Under German law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. Under § 356(4) BGB and Art. 16(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU, that right is lost once a service has been fully performed, provided the consumer gave prior express consent to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the right would be lost on full performance.

You give that consent by ticking the box on the booking page before payment. Without it we cannot proceed with the booking. We record the time at which it was given.

If you wish to withdraw before the session has taken place, write to cuttingnoiseswithbets@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full within 14 days. Once the session has taken place, the right of withdrawal has been lost.

Beyond Thoughts does not guarantee specific outcomes. What we guarantee is a structured, focused conversation designed to help you gain perspective and identify a concrete next step.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session (€49), except in cases of intent or gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or where liability cannot be limited by law.

We are not liable for decisions you make as a result of a session, nor for any indirect or consequential loss.

What you share in a session is treated with full discretion. We do not share session content with any third party. Sessions are not recorded. We may use anonymised, non-identifiable observations to improve the method. If you provide a testimonial and consent to its use, we publish it only in the form you agree to.

All content on this website and the session method itself are the intellectual property of Beyond Thoughts. You may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially use any part of them without written permission.

These terms are governed by German law. For consumers in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply. In the event of a dispute we will first try to resolve it amicably.
